Eligibility Criteria for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship 2018
The Sitaram Jindal Foundation has divided eligibility criteria for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship 2017-18 in five categories, which are discussed below.
Category A: The girl students who belong to BPL Family and studying from class 9 to 12 are eligible for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship 2017-18.
Category B: Students who are pursuing ITI course may apply for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship 2017-18.
Category C: The Students who are pursuing graduation or post-graduation honors course can apply for this scholarship. The income of applicant’s family should not exceed more than 4 lakhs.
Category D: The students of Engineering or Medical courses can apply for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship if their annual family income does not exceed 2.5 lakh.
Category E: The students who are appearing in Diploma courses in the field of Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Environment Scientist, Journalism etc are eligible to apply for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship 2017-18.
Scholarship Amount Details:
- For Category A: Rs. 500/-
- For Category B: Rs. 500/-
- For Category C: Rs. 800 (Girls) / Rs. 600 (Boys)
- For Category D: Rs. 1000 (Girls) / Rs. 800 (Boys)
- For Category E: Rs. 1300/- (Boys) / Rs. 1500 (Girls)
