UP Police Constable Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit for Male Candidates:

The minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 22 years.
For SC category candidates, the minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 27 years.
For OBC category candidates, the minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 27 years.
For ST category candidates, the minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 27 years.

Age Limit for Female Candidates:

The minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 25 years.
For SC category candidates, the minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 30 years.
For OBC category candidates, the minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 30 years.
For ST category candidates, the minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 30 years.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates must be cleared the 12th Standard in any stream from any recognized Board of Education.

Physical Requirements for Male Candidates:

Height: The minimum height to apply is 168 cms and for the ST category candidates, the minimum height to apply is 160 cms
Weight: Candidate must be of at least 50 kgs.
Chest: Chest size of the candidate must be 79 cm without expansion and 84 with expansion. For the ST category candidates, chest size of the candidate must be 77 cm without expansion and 82 with expansion.

Physical Requirements for Female Candidates:

Height: The minimum height to apply is 152 cms and for the ST category candidates, the minimum height to apply is 147 cms
Weight: Candidate must be of at least 40 kgs.
